After meeting with the President for State House, Abuja, Senior Special Assistant on Community Engagement (North-Central), Abiodun Essiet, yan say di violence no be new matter, e don dey happen for decades even before Tinubu waka enter office.
Essiet talk say between 1994 and 2023, over 6,571 people don die for Plateau State alone, and di wahala dey mostly linked to land disputes, ethnic mistrust, illegal mining, and banditry.

Government don call for patience and collective effort from communities and security agencies to tackle di root causes of di violence instead of point fingers.
