Federal High Court Give Nnamdi Kanu Last Chance as Him Refuse Open Defence Again

Abuja — Federal High Court for Abuja don adjourn Nnamdi Kanu trial, di leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), after him refuse again to open him defence for di terrorism case wey dey face am.

Justice James Omotosho wey dey handle di case don give Kanu till November 5 to either defend himself or waive him right to do so.

For di court session wey happen Tuesday, di judge warn Kanu say na him last chance to open him defence come November 5, else e go lose him right to talk. On October 23, Kanu bin fire him legal team, talk say him go represent himself.

During di day’s proceedings, Kanu wey dey represent himself talk say him never file final written address as court don order, but e don file one motion plus supporting affidavit.

Kanu yan say him no go enter any defence because him believe say no valid charge dey against am according to law. Him even talk say him no go return detention and demand make dem free am immediately because, as him talk am, no valid charge dey wey fit continue trial.

Di prosecuting lawyer, Adegboyega Awomolo (SAN), come respond, yan say di fresh court documents wey Kanu file no proper, dem no follow law.
