According to police talk, the arrest come after sustained operations, intelligence-led raids and stop-and-search activities wey security agents carry out to flush out criminal elements. Police say among the suspects na people wey dey terrorize communities, collect ransom, and cause fear for residents.

The police command add say dem recover different dangerous weapons and exhibits during the operations, while some suspects don already dey face serious investigation. Authorities promise say no stone go unturn as dem go make sure say criminals no get hiding place for Delta State again.
