Professional Fighters League (PFL) Africa don announce say dem first official event go hold for Lagos on June 13 inside the Eko Hotel & Convention Centre.
Organisers describe the show as premium global sporting experience wey go mix combat sports, culture, entertainment and the full Lagos energy wey the city dey known for.
The competition go feature 13 fights with 26 fighters wey come from Nigeria, other African countries and international locations.
For the main event, Nigerian fighter Wasiu Adeshina go face European opponent Nacho Campos. For the co-main fight, another Nigerian fighter Patrick Ocheme go battle Cameroon’s Octave Ayinda.
Promoters talk say the event na part of bigger plan to show Lagos as global stage where Africa fit display im sporting power and entertainment strength to the world.
Dem also explain say the campaign dey push national pride, high-energy entertainment and the fast-growing popularity of mixed martial arts (MMA) for Africa.
According to organisers, the event also dey target hardcore MMA fans as well as people wey never watch live fight before, to give dem premium experience.
