Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, don present ₦490.7 billion 2027 budget proposal give the Ekiti State House of Assembly, as e dey plan to continue development projects and improve people life for im second term.

According to reports by other media outfit , the budget wey dem name “Budget of Sustained Progress and Prosperity” go focus on infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, youth empowerment and job creation.

The proposal get ₦275.68 billion for recurrent expenditure, wey cover government running costs, while ₦215.06 billion go capital projects, including roads and other infrastructure.

Oyebanji talk say the budget na to build on the achievements of im administration and create more opportunities for Ekiti residents.

The Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Adeoye Aribasoye, promise say lawmakers go carefully examine the proposal and ensure say the money go reach important projects and the needs of the people.

The budget still need legislative approval before implementation fit begin for January 2027.
