NDC Vex for FG 30-Days Petrol Discount, Talk Say E No Go Solve Nigerians’ Wahala

Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) don criticise Federal Government 30-days petrol discount, say the plan no go fit solve the serious economic hardship wey Nigerians dey face.

According to reports by Vanguard, the party describe the initiative as “tokenism”, meaning say na small relief wey no go make much difference for ordinary Nigerians.

Government don announce the temporary arrangement to sell petrol at cost price for 30 days through NNPC filling stations, with public transport operators getting priority.

But NDC question how much relief the discount go really bring, especially as fuel price don dey affect transportation, food prices and cost of living.

The party also raise concern say limiting the discounted petrol to selected NNPC stations fit cause long queues, congestion and safety wahala.

NDC further ask wetin go happen after the 30 days finish, insist say Nigerians need lasting solution to high cost of living, no be temporary relief.
