MBF Blast Silence Over Borno, Kaduna School Kidnappings After Oyo Rescue

Middle Belt Forum (MBF) don criticize wetin dem describe as selective attention to insecurity, saying e no good say people celebrate the successful rescue of victims for Oyo State while many school children wey gunmen kidnap for Borno and Kaduna still never get the same level of attention.

According to The Punch, MBF praise security agencies for the rescue operation for Oyo, but insist say the Federal Government and security authorities suppose show the same urgency to rescue pupils wey still dey captivity for Borno and Kaduna.

Daily Trust and Channels Television also report say the group warn against treating insecurity differently depending on the state or region where e happen, stressing say every Nigerian life get equal value.

MBF come call on President Bola Tinubu-led government to intensify rescue efforts and make sure all kidnapped pupils regain their freedom as quickly as possible.

The forum also urge security agencies to strengthen protection around schools across the country to stop fresh attacks, saying the continuous abduction of students dey threaten education and the safety of children.
