“Make Una Free Our Pikin Dem, Free Our Teachers!” – C&S Church Members Protest For Oyo, Dey Beg Government

Tension enter parts of Oyo State as members of Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S) Church come out carry protest, dey demand make government and security agencies quickly rescue school children and their teachers wey still dey kidnappers hand.

According to reports from Channels Television, The Punch and Premium Times, the protesters carry placards with strong messages, dey shout say make government no delay again, as the matter don already last too long.

The church members and concerned residents block some streets while dem dey sing sorrowful songs and call on both federal and state government to act fast before things go worse.

Eye witnesses and local media report say security operatives dey around to monitor the protest and prevent any breakdown of law and order as people gather for the demonstration.

Dem insist say the kidnapping of children and teachers show say insecurity don too much for the country, and say government suppose take stronger action to protect schools and rural communities.

Reports from Daily Trust and Vanguard add say the protesters also beg President Bola Tinubu administration make dem intensify rescue efforts and make sure say kidnappers no get space again.
