Delta Police Arrest 4 Suspects Over Gun Linked to Late Upcoming Artiste

Delta State Police Command don arrest four people wey dem link to gun matter wey involve upcoming artiste, Oghenemine Ogidi, wey die for alleged police extrajudicial shooting for Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area on April 26.

According to statement wey Commissioner of Police, CP Yemi Oyeniyi, release on June 8 and as Punch and Channels Television report am, the arrest come after serious investigation and intelligence operation wey police carry out across Bayelsa and Imo states.

The suspects—Emmanuel Chukwuemeka, Clifford Boleyelefa, Amadi Princewill, and Amadi Felix Chibuike—dem arrest them between May 4 and May 16.

Police talk say Emmanuel Chukwuemeka first fall for hand for Bayelsa, where he allegedly confess say he buy the gun for N290,000 and later sell am for N380,000 to one middleman wey dem only identify as “Desmond,” wey still dey on the run.

From there, investigation lead police go Amadi Princewill for Imo State, where dem arrest am. He allegedly talk say he buy the gun from Amadi Felix for N200,000. Police later track and arrest Amadi Felix too for Owerri.

CP Oyeniyi add say all the suspects dey allegedly belong to Black Axe confraternity-linked group wey dey involved in illegal gun business.

Police still dey search for other suspects wey include the said Desmond, while dem go charge all the arrested ones go court once investigation finish.
