Rivers State Government don begin the process for the sale of Harold Dappa Biriye building wey be former the former NDDC building wey dey for 167 Aba road for Port Harcourt.

Commissioner for Housing Rivers State Donald Burabe during the bid opening ceremony for ministry of Housing tok say the decision to sell off the building come from the State executive Council.

At the end of the bidding exercise, na only one bidder – Royal Building and Designs Limited bid for the building for the sum of N2.1bn two billion that one hundred, million naira.

Correspondent Allwell Ene report say the bidding process happen for the presence of staff from the Bureau of Public Procurement, office of the head of Rivers State civil service, Nigerian institute of quantity surveyors.
