Police operatives from Force Criminal Investigations Department (FCID) Annex, Lagos, don arrest one Chinedu Ngwaka, wey claim say him be Bureau De Change (BDC) operator, for alleged N320 million fraud.

Police tok say Ngwaka and him wife, Janet, collect money from Tochukwu Unachukwu, Managing Director of Casco Electronics, to buy $200,000 for business, but the money no reach the suppliers for China. Investigation show say Ngwaka use fake documents and telex confirmation to deceive people.

Dem even recover Toyota Hilux wey carry fake Presidency number plate from am. Ngwaka claim say him company na “Phobia BDC Ltd,” but CAC and CBN confirm say e no get any licence.

Police tok say dem don receive more complaints against Ngwaka, including ₦1 billion and ₦840 million fraud cases from other victims. The suspect go soon face court with him accomplices.

The police don advise Nigerians to report fraudsters and be careful for their dealings.
