The National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) don yarn say dem receive and classify 274 movies wey the Nigerian film industry produce for the first quarter of di year.

Di Executive Director/CEO Dr Shaibu Husseini, wey talk dis one for statement today, say the figure come from di Department of Film Censorship and Classification of the board for dia first quarter report, wey cover all di different types of films wey the board don approve.

Dem go submit di report to the relevant Federal Government agency as input for di compilation of di nation’s Gross Domestic Product for the first quarter of 2024 (Q1 2024).

Out of di number wey dem verify and approve, 250 films na for English, while di rest na for Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, and Hindi languages.
