Former Labour Party big man Peter Obi don blast the current leadership, saying say no serious country go last if na excuses and absentee leaders dey run things.

Obi make this statement on his X page after he review how Nigeria don dey suffer wahala for security, with cases of abductions, killings, and breakdown of institutions.

He talk say the chaos wey dey now no be by fate, but na “we wey be leaders” dey allow insecurity and institutional decay to flourish.

Obi call out elected people, claiming dem don choose “comfort over courage, politics over people, and power over purpose.”

He remind Nigerians that leadership no be just title — na duty to protect everybody. He stress say the country need leaders wey get competence, compassion, and responsiveness, not people wey just dey hide and make excuses.
