NNPC don increase fuel price again, from N897 to N1,030 per litre for Abuja, and from N868 to N998 for Lagos. This na second time inside one month wey dem go increase price. Nigerians dey vex say the new hike dey affect transport fares and cost of living.
NLC president, Joe Ajaero, don condemn the increase, call am “abnormal” and demand make government reverse the hike. He talk say, “This kind of hike in less than one month is unjustifiable.”
Organised Private Sector too dey complain, say the price go affect production cost for businesses. NLC representative tok, “How are businesses expected to survive this?”
