According to reports wey surface online, di kasala burst when Wike and some FCT officials visit one disputed land for Abuja and some soldiers stop dem from entering di area.

As e be say di former Rivers State governor no like wetin e see, Wike vex comot body and confront di military men wey stand guard for di site. E ask dem who give dem approval to dey occupy or develop di land.

Wike no gree at all. As e dey para, e tell di soldier wey lead di team:

“Show me di document wey you get. You no get document! I be minister, you no fit tell me dat. We no fit dey continue dis kind intimidation every time.”

E still yarn say some people dey use uniform and position to oppress government officials, something wey e say e no go ever allow again.

But di military officer, wey appear calm even as di tension high, reply say dem dey act under order from one of dia ogas.

Di matter turn small shouting match as both sides hold ground.
While Wike dey raise voice dey warn di officer, di soldier still stand gidigba say dem get legal documents for di land.

“We acquire everything legally. I be officer wey get integrity. I no go shut up, you no fit shut me up,” di soldier talk.

Wike sharply respond, calling di officer “fool”, but di officer no gree:

“Oga, I no be fool o. I dey act on order.”

Na so di minister fire back again say nobody dey higher than government, and say e no go ever allow anybody, uniform or not, to intimidate am.

“You no fit dey higher than any government. You no fit dey carry gun dey threaten people wey dey do dia work!” Wike talk.
