Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman has reportedly decided to leave Atalanta at the end of the season, according to Tuttomercatoweb.com. The report, published Sunday, claims Lookman has made a firm decision regarding his future, marking the end of his time with the Bergamo-based club.
“Ademola Lookman has already made the most important decision about his future. He will no longer be at Atalanta,” the outlet stated.
Though a move was previously considered last year, a gentleman’s agreement between the parties now points to an imminent departure. His next destination has not yet been confirmed, but further discussions were highlighted in the latest Tuttomercatoweb podcast hosted by Marco Conterio.
Despite the uncertainty, Lookman continues to impress in Serie A, currently topping the player ratings (minimum 19 games played) with an average score of 6.52 — tied with Nico Paz of Como.
