Lagos state slash cost of transportation, to feed ova 1000 residents

E say di move na part of di state goment efforts to ease di current economic hardship for di kontri.

Govnor Sanwo-Olu also list oda measures to ease economic pressure wey include; reducing di number of times civil servants for di state go dey physically present for work. E also announce 25% reduction on all public transportation for di state.

Sanwo-Olu say, “Di first tin we go do going forward na to start wit our own public servants to create flexible working hours for dem.

“So, immediately from next week, we go work out a plan wia civil servants from Level 1 to 14 go come office maximum three times a week.

“Level 15 to 17 go come work four times, all civil servants go work remotely anytime dem no dey work from office.”

To address di rising food prices, di govnor say dem go open Sunday Markets across 42 identified markets across di state to sell food items at really affordable rates.

“Lagosians go fit buy commodities, wey no go dey above di N25,000 threshold. We dey aim to serve ova 500,000 Lagosians wit essential food items at rates wey low pass di inflation rate”. Govnor Sanwo-Olu add.
