According to di official result wey INEC Returning Officer, Prof. Florence Obi, announce for Awka, Soludo gather 422,664 votes, beat im closest rival Nicholas Ukachukwu of di All Progressives Congress (APC) wey get 99,445 votes.
Paul Chukwuma of di Young Progressives Party (YPP) carry 37,753 votes, while John Nwosu of di African Democratic Congress (ADC) get 8,208 votes.
For di Labour Party (LP), George Moghalu get 10,576 votes, and Jude Ezenwafor of di Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) manage 1,401 votes
After dem declare am winner, Govnor Soludo yarn say dis victory na confirmation say Anambra pipo still believe for im leadership.
“Four years ago, una tok; today una don tok again — and una voice loud well-well. Dis na di third time since 1999 wey Anambra pipo go re-elect sitting govnor,” Soludo talk.
E still remind di crowd say for 2010, di re-election happen with 31% of votes, 2017 with 56%, and now for 2025, im and im deputy secure 73% of votes cast — somtin wey e call “strong message of confidence from Anambra people”
Soludo also appreciate President Bola Tinubu and security agencies for making sure say di election free and fair.
