Manchester City have signed 25-year-old Egyptian striker Omar Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt on a four-and-a-half-year deal, securing his services until 2029.

Known for his versatility across the frontline, Marmoush has been capped 35 times by Egypt and expressed his excitement, calling it “an amazing feeling” to join Pep Guardiola’s side.

Marmoush enjoyed a stellar 2023/24 season with Frankfurt, scoring 17 goals in 41 appearances, and continued his impressive form this season with 20 goals and 14 assists in 26 games before the transfer.

City’s Director of Football Txiki Begiristain praised Marmoush as a dynamic forward with technical excellence, adding that working under Guardiola would further enhance his talent.
