Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, has raised the bar yet again as he presented a bold and record-breaking ₦1.62 trillion budget for 2026, tagged the “Budget of Renewed Momentum.”

The presentation, signaled the administration’s determination to fast-track development, deepen infrastructure, and solidify Enugu’s rising status as an investment hub.

Governor Mbah described the budget as a “strategic blueprint for accelerated growth,” stressing that critical sectors such as education, technology, healthcare, and road infrastructure will receive massive boosts aimed at transforming the state’s economic landscape.

According to him, the 2026 spending plan is built on sustainability, innovation, and measurable results, with a focus on completing ongoing mega-projects and launching new ones that will “push Enugu into a new era of prosperity.”
