Nwuzi wey also be di candidate of di All Progressives Congress (APC) to contest for Etche/Omuma federal constituency bin dey arrested by State CID sake of one viral video dem receive wey show am allegedly dey incite violence, promote communal crisis, treasonable felony and conspiracy.

Although Police no bring any charge against am wen dem charge am go court, dem ask di court to remand am to police custody till dem complete dia investigation, but di prosecutor oppose di request and ask for Nwuzi to dey remanded in Prison custody, becos say di statement e make for di video fit cause violence during and after election.

Before di arraignment for court, di Supervising Assistant Inspector-General of Police for di Elections for Rivers State, AIG Abutu Yaro, bin invite Ephraim Nwuzi for questioning on di content of di video to ascertain intent and purposes of di lawmaker for di video.
