Justice James of the Federal High Court Abuja don nullify the N800 billion budget passed by the Edison Ehie group of the Rivers State House of Assembly and signed to law by the Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara.

The court also uphold the suit wey  the Assembly and Speaker Martin Amaewhule, file against Fubara, wey seek order of injunction restraining the governor from frustrating the Assembly.

Remember say On December 13, 2023, during the heat of the political crisis wey rock Rivers State and the demolition of the Assembly Complex, Fubara present the 2024 budget proposal of N800bn to five members of the State Assembly wey be Edison Ehie faction. E sha later resign from the House.
