The Akwa Ibom State Government has announced free tickets for the Super Eagles’ 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe on Tuesday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
Commissioner for Sports, Paul Bassey, stated on Monday that Governor Umo Eno purchased all 30,000 tickets to boost support for the national team. The tickets will be distributed at designated centers, including radio stations, De Venus Bar, Uyo Township Stadium, and Ibom Plaza. Fans are urged to secure their tickets in advance, as none will be available at the stadium.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has pledged to give Super Eagles jerseys to the first 500 fans with tickets. NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, called on Nigerians to turn out in large numbers, emphasizing the importance of fan support.
